4. Representing Slovenia on the 24th Ljubljana Biennale of Graphic Art 2001

Marjana Pahor found the way how to incorporate traditional printmaking technique in modern art expression of the time- installation. On the 12 meter long graphic paper she printed with silkscreen technique portraits of innocent victims of the three Balkan wars with the poetry or words of victims written by themselves before they died. Graphic symbols were printed with intaglio technique in relief. One of the victims was the artist’s grandfather, Angel Pahor.
